Before you say hello
Is it really a live voice conversation?
Yes. Learners speak through their microphone and the patient answers out loud in real time, like a phone call. There is no typing. The transcript is saved when the conversation ends.
What can I try during the free trial?
Your three-day trial includes one saved patient case and three total minutes of live voice practice. Bring a de-identified case or start with the example in the studio.
Do I need to write prompts?
Start with your clinical case in plain language. HeyDoc! prepares a standardized patient from that source, with a patient profile and optional encounter timer.
Can learners practise in different languages?
Live encounters are instructed to follow the language the learner speaks, including when they switch languages. There is no language selector to set up first.
Can I review the conversation afterwards?
Completed encounters can be saved with their transcripts in your private workspace. You can download a transcript to support feedback and reflection. Automated assessment is not included.
